Cross Country
Rules
Teams receive the sum of the number of points as the place each runner takes in the race. The lowest score wins.
A team consists of four runners (scorers). Two extra runners (pushers) can help the team do better (or other teams do worse). The first four runners score points, the next two can make other teams get more points.
Race Courses
2K (1.25 miles)
Begin near the Rinehart's driveway, take the path toward the classroom building, at the driveway, turn left and go around the building past the fuel pumps and back toward the lake road, continue around the lake, staying on the lake road until you come to the finish line at the sidewalk to the gazebo.
3K (1.9 miles)
Begin near the Rinehart's driveway, go around the lake once, on the second lap, take the path toward the classroom building, at the driveway, turn left and go around the building past the fuel pumps and back toward the lake road, continue around the lake, staying on the lake road until you come to the finish line at the sidewalk to the gazebo.
4K (2.5 miles)
Begin near the gas meter on the new gymnasium building, go around the lake twice, then take the path toward the classroom building, at the driveway, turn left and go around the building past the fuel pumps and back toward the lake road, continue on this route once, after passing the starting area the third time, stay on the lake road until you come to the finish line at the sidewalk to the gazebo.
